American Airlines has extended its flight cancellations until at least June 5 as Boeing 737 MAX jets are grounded. The airline previously announced it would be canceling 90 flights a day until April 24. American says it will continue canceling the flightsuntil regulatory authorities and Boeing indicate it is safe to resume flying the aircraft. Boeing is developing a software fix for the aircraft after two crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia killed nearly 350 people.
