What do you see as your greatest success in life, so far?
There is no question that my biggest success is in Family. My wife and I, and our descendants, with spouses, total 50 people. Everyone is prosperous, successful. I have a grand-daughter who is a department head at Warner Brothers in California; I have a grand-daughter who is an assistant to Senator Ted Cruz in Washington. My company is owned by trusts for my wife and five children.

What book would you recommend and why?
I recommend a brand-new book called, “Always Welcome”, available on Amazon. Why, because I wrote it.
How do you deal with fear?
Being 90 years old, I know I have not been fearful in 50 years. And, I’m not sure I was ever fearful.
What’s a personal self-talk, mantra, affirmation or self-belief that contributes to your success?
I’ve listed 50 items that I call Welcome’s Rules of Order. The sub-title is how to succeed in business and life by avoiding my mistakes. Item number 31, says, frame every so-called disaster with these words, “In five years will this matter?”
