60th Olympia Highlights: New Champions, Retirements, and Samson Dauda Takes the Sandow!

What an unforgettable week it’s been as we celebrated the 60th Olympia – truly the most incredible Olympia ever! We crowned three new champions, watched six defend their titles, and witnessed two athletes reclaim their crowns. It was a weeklong celebration that brought the entire bodybuilding community together, showcasing some of the most extraordinary physiques we’ve ever seen on the Olympia stage.

We also saw two legendary champions announce their retirements, marking the end of remarkable careers. The excitement culminated Saturday night when Samson Dauda shocked the world, claiming the coveted title of Mr. Olympia in one of the most thrilling finishes in recent history.

The National Physique Committee is the premier amateur physique organization in the world. Since 1982, the top athletes in bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini and physique have started their careers in the NPC. Many of those athletes graduated to successful careers in the IFBB Professional League, a list that includes 24 Olympia and 38 Arnold Classic winners.
