NEW YORK, February 11, 2020 — The daughter of the late Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart and Sam’s Club, Alice Walton is the wealthiest person in Texas and the 11th wealthiest person in America with an estimated net worth of $51.7 billion, reports financial news website Every state has residents worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars.
