In the wild, jungle cat babies live with their mother until they reach at least eight weeks. They feed off of their mother’s milk before consuming solid foods at six weeks. Since these kittens were only five weeks, there was no way to know how long they had been motherless before they were found. It was unsure whether they would be able to get back to full health without crucial nutrients from their mother.
