Legendary comedian launches contest for fans to design his new logo and win a trip to Las Vegas to meet him in person See Carrot Top talk about the contest here
LAS VEGAS (August 29, 2023) – As he prepares to celebrate his 18th anniversary at Luxor Hotel and Casino this November, iconic entertainer Carrot Top has decided that it’s time for a new logo! The longest-running headlining comedian in Las Vegas has had several logos throughout the years, but none that have been designed by his fans. So, he has decided to launch a design contest to allow his fans to submit their designs for a new logo that will capture the comedian’s unique style and brand.
“I’ve always had an eye for drawing logos, and for the most part, I’ve drawn most of my logos myself. Now, we’re trying to come up with a new one – but have someone else design it for me this time!” said Carrot Top. “We are looking for a simple, clean and strong logo so that when you look at it, you know immediately that it’s me. I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!”
From Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Oct. 6, fans can submit their designs. Participants must submit their design in a layered Adobe Illustrator file format, via email to the designated contest email address at ctlogocontest@gmail.com. Entries must be original designs and not copied from other sources. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Oct. 6, 2023. Any entries received after this date will not be considered.
Designs received will be narrowed down to a maximum of 10 finalists after the deadline. These finalists will be posted on Carrot Top’s social media in which the public will then have two weeks to vote on their three favorites. Then, of those three, a panel of judges appointed by Carrot Top will select the winning design. Entries will be judged on their originality, creativity, relevance to Carrot Top’s brand, and overall design aesthetic.
The winning design will be featured on Carrot Top’s social media accounts. The winner will also receive: two $300 Allegiant travel vouchers; a two-night, three-day stay in a Tower Premium King Room at Luxor Hotel and Casino; a $150 food and beverage credit to be used at Luxor Hotel and Casino; two tickets to Carrot Top’s Las Vegas show; and a VIP meet & greet with Carrot Top.
