When Oscar Perez came to America, he landed in Florida and began feeling dizzy, weak and unbalanced. Because of his health condition, he founded a company that is on the verge of racing across the nation and the world.
When Oscar received the bad news that he had a heart condition, he decided to meet the challenge head on and start working out and eating right.
His doctor suggested adding protein drinks to his diet, but Oscar soon found his optimism turned into disappointment. No matter where he looked, all he found were pre-packaged protein powders with low quality ingredients and a high level of preservatives.

Perez recently surprised vending industry leaders when he opposed their lobbying efforts to overturn new nutrition labeling laws. The new rules require displaying calorie count information on all items sold in vending machines. Many in the vending industry opposed these new laws, but Perez was firmly in support.
“People have the right to know what they are eating and drinking,” he said. “It’s time this industry stands up for what is right and gives consumers the information they need to make intelligent, informed decisions about the products they consume.
Perez is now working on projects that will enhance school nutrition, especially in the inner cities.
“I believe in giving back to society,” Perez stated. “I am so fortunate in so many ways. My goal now is to help other people realize their inner potential, and live happier and healthier lives.”
