“Like A Girl.” Since I was a young boy, hearing buddies tell you, ” you throw like a girl or do that “like a girl” was generally a putdown. This meant that you were weak, a wuss and what’s was funny in fact, occasionally, you would hear girls use it too. I never thought much about it until I was blessed with 3 wonderfully talented daughters, so here’s something for you think about. How do you think it feels when you are a young girl, what if you’re moving into adolescence? And consciously and subconsciously you’re being told that being a “girl” is less than, that being a girl is some kind of insult? We have to take massive action to correct this mislabeling!
