It’s that time of year again – the aftermath of a barrage of offers varying from seemingly unknown companies to our favourite brands on everything from a new signature device to new accessories. With all these new products, it’s sometimes far too easy to miss a great deal. In this article, I’ll be covering my collection of smartphone tech, and where to find it.
1: A Clip on Lens Kit
For the avid photographer, and general user alike, a good set of lenses as an attachment for a smartphone is a purchase I’ve never looked back on and one lens kit that fits the vast majority of flagship phones, and also has enough variety in its lens types is the CamKix Universal 3 in 1 lens kit.
2: Unlimited data for cheap
After taking all your photos ready for sharing on Instagram or other social platforms, you might want to share them immediately, but there’s always the worry of those pesky data limits. With this great SIM only contract from Three in the UK, you’ll be able to browse the web as much as you please for a very pleasant price in comparison to other top contractors.
With a price of £29.00 PCM on a 12 month contract, this might be a contender for the current top UK SIM only deal. Providing unlimited minutes and texts alongside all-you-can-eat data, this sort of deal is aimed at heavy phone users, but provides a comfortable overhead for anyone worried about not staying within their pesky monthly limits.
3: Battery packs
We all hate downtime from our smartphones. So always come prepared with a high capacity, fast charging power bank. A deal I’ve recently found and has come in handy is the Poweradd Pilot X7. With 20,000mAH of portable power, it’s capable of charging your average smartphone 5 to 6 times and has two separate USB ports to simultaneously charge two devices, and even has a fairly powerful built-in torch!
4: Earphones
A good pair of earphones can change the whole atmosphere of a song or video. The KRTE60 Earphones from Kroots provide a great range of audio reproduction, noise isolation, and a tangle free cable alongside a microphone to keep on top of incoming calls and take advantage of voice assistant controls on your device. A small travel bag for the earphones is also provided, as well as ear pieces of varying sizes allowing just the right fit for any ear.
5: Mobile phone insurance
With all these great new accessories and upgrades to your phone, it’d be helpful to have a simple, complete protection package to cover your device. With Switched On Insurance, you get just that. Varying levels of protection are available from as little as £2.50 a month, covering anything from theft cover to liquid damage. The protection levels vary from standard to ultimate cover, with available service to cover E-Wallet loss of up to £500, and accessory cover up to £150.
