Eight-year-old Ryan Kaji of Ryan’s World on YouTube earned $26 million in 2019 to take the title of highest-paid YouTuber. Subscription-wise, the U.S.-based Ryan sits at No. 24 globally, with 23 million subs. His brand-savvy family, including a Vietnamese mother and Japanese father, has so far avoided YouTube burnout and hit top revenue by diversifying with cartoons, educational shows, merchandise and recently expanding the Ryan brand to Japan with a Japanese-language hub.
