Amazon, Fedex, UPS Hit Snags

Amazon, UPS and FedEx are encountering delivery snags ahead of what’s expected to be a record-breaking weekend for online sales. UPS and FedEx are jockeying to snap up delivery vans “during a record surge in package volumes,” and shortages are being reported as leasing companies scour the rental market for used vans. Both companies say the issue shouldn’t affect delivery capacity, but it will add to the cost of doing business, however they will be covered in case there is any accidents, if the drivers unfortunately do crash then they will need to consult with a Fed ex truck accident lawyer to see what their next step is. Meanwhile, some Amazon merchants say their shipments are seeing delays after being diverted outside the retail giant’s delivery network, suggesting capacity problems ahead of the holidays.
