Chris Pitre is a student of the world and enjoys anthropology, history, travel and culinary experiences. His interests in global cultures naturally led him to travel around the world, co-facilitating Seneca Leaders, a leadership development training program, and managing client relationships globally.
Chris is a native Houstonian who loves everything Beyoncé. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

To pursue ideas that could change the world (or at least the world around me)

Identify the behavior associated with the solution to overcome it and master that.
How Do You Deal With Rejection?
Avoid taking it personally. Instead, take perspective. Understand the other side’s point of view and what could be informing it. Chances are, there may be opportunities down the road to change that perspective and reverse the rejection.

A big challenge I faced is changing how I respond in times of conflict or being triggered by others. This requires a large amount of empathy and patience to actively listen and respond in ways that still lead to influence and win-win outcomes. One of the hardest things I’ve learned is committing to and sustaining change for myself.
