Profiles of Success with Deb Gabor

What do you see as your greatest success in life, so far?

My greatest success in life is life itself right now. I’m living my life on terms that I have defined. Parenting, partnering, entrepreneurship, friendship — really everything is by my own choosing. That’s my greatest success.

What book would you recommend and why?

I’d recommend two books:

1) Branding is Sex; not just because it’s MY book, but because it’s a practical HOW-TO guide for building a bulletproof brand that connects with your best, most ideal customer, and elevates their self-concept.

2) ScalingUp (Verne Harnish): This is the methodology we use (Rockefeller Habits) in our business to put a framework/operating system around our execution. It has been very empowering for me personally as well as our entire business team.

How do you deal with fear?       You already asked this, I think?

What’s a personal self-talk, mantra, affirmation or self-belief that contributes to your success?

I am not a regular practitioner of “self-talk.” However, I’m pretty grounded and realistic and remind myself to be grateful, even when things seem really bleak. Honestly, my problems, however big or small they are, are pretty insignificant in the whole scheme of things.
