Time Travel Photo?

If you think 1973 is the year that cell phones came out, think again. If this video is anything to go by, Martin Cooper was 35 years too late.

This clip shows a group of gal pals walking by the camera, smiling. Seems normal enough, right? Except one of the gals walking by seems to be holding something next to her ear as she smiles and laughs.

Many internet users think that she is a time traveler with a cell phone. Maybe she’s on the phone with her future gal pals, letting them know that she made it to 1938 safely. Another possibility is that it’s a hairbrush, or even a small handbag. You decide!

If you’re wondering if Bruce Willis has a twin brother, you’re wrong. These pictures are years apart — or are they?

The man on the right is General Douglas MacArthur. The general even has the same squint look that Willis gives in his action films. If that is Willis on the left, it doesn’t seem as if he’ll die hard any time soon.

Didn’t we just watch a clip of a woman holding a phone? Yes, we did, but this one is slightly different.

The video clip above is from Charlie Chaplin’s 1928 film The Circus. In this clip, we see a woman (far right) walking at a normal pace before stopping, and her body language shows something close to confusion. Is the woman really from 1928, or is she from the future?

Sadly, chances are slim to none that she’s from the future. In 1924, Siemens developed a compact, pocket-sized carbon microphone/amplifier device. By 1929, Siemens had several different products that aided hearing.

It’s safe to say that 1928 was this woman’s home all along.
