. The Eagles’ album is now considered 38 times platinum, while ‘Thriller’ is 33 times platinum. The RIAA takes into consideration both sales and streaming via platforms like YouTube and Spotify. The Eagles’ hit ‘Hotel California’ is not on the album in question, as it was recorded in 1977.
